Gruner blend | Keep Wines 2019 | California

For the 2019 Delta White, Keep decided to create a California version of a Wiener Gemischter Satz.

Using all Austrian Varietals this field blend was all picked together and pressed together and no varietal is over 50% keeping it in the Wiener Gemischter Satz rules. All except for being grown in Austria of course. From the Lost Slough Vineyard, right next to the Sacramento River Delta, hence the name.

The cooler air and loamy soil from the Delta give this wine a rare minerality not seen in most California white grapes.

Stainless Steel fermented, sur lie aged for 6 months before bottling. Honeysuckle flower on the nose with a stunning stone fruit finish, river rocks on the palate. Native yeast fermentation, unrefined/ unfiltered.
